FiBee recovering after surgery
Can you picture your pet recovering from an illness or surgery or a wound, wearing that awful E-Collar your Vet sells you. You know the one, clear plastic, huge thing that not only embarrasses your pet but creates havoc once your home. Imagine your sick baby trying to move, sleep and eat after all she/he has been through. Don't strain for the answer...it's not a pretty picture!
If you have been following our "Walking the Blog" posts you know that our (now 7month old) Cavalier King Charles Tri Color Fiona Belle aka FiBee was born with a birth defect called PDA. At 5 months she had Heart surgery that would correct her heart and give her the gift of a normal life. The day of surgery I brought with me a COMFY CONE in just her size, and asked that she have this for her recovery process. They put the soft padded cone on her immediately after surgery and she wore it for about a month, day and night.
The beauty of this cone is that it is soft. When feeding you can turn it back for them while eating and drinking, it won't hurt if they bump into a doorway or something because it is soft and for sleeping it acts as a cushion, plus it breathes. Comfy Cone is made of industrial grade nylon with a reflective front binding, it cleans easily and has removable stays for turn back. It is Vet recommended, by those who really care and it is a proven product that is highly sought after.
